Daily Food Dairy #6 | Jan. 6th 2016

Today has been really hard. All I want is something sweet. Chocolate, cake, ice cream, donut.... whatever. Just not lettuce. We also had a really hard work out today, that kicked my booty so I was wiped out and starving and the last thing I wanted to do was eat a dang salad. LOL. The struggle is real.

Here's what I ate today:

Breakfast:
1 Grapefruit
Turkey cooked in pan dry
1 Cup of Green Tea
16 oz water

Snack: (I was at the gym and didn't eat)
32 oz water 

Lunch: Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie (for 2 people)


3 tbsp Chunky Peanut Butter
Almond Milk
Ice
3 Bananas
2 handfuls Baby Carrots

16 oz water

Dinner: Tuna Salad
Handful of Spinach
1/2 cup grape tomatoes
1 can of tuna in water
1/2 avocado
1/2 red bell pepper
 
Balsamic Vinaigrette
3 tbsp Sesame Oil
2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 tbsp Spicy Brown Mustard
Salt & Pepper
 
16 oz water

  1. YUMMY On the smoothie!! I am for sure making this one too. I have really been getting into smoothies lately so I definitely want to try this. I have never thought of putting carrots into it. Also, I tried a new salad last night inspired by you and Jay. It was cut up cabbage, iceberg salad mix, cucumbers, and onion. I then made my own dressing out of balsamic vinegar and spicy brown mustard, and a package of sugar sweetener. OMG it was so good. Thanks for continuing to post your food diary. I love it.
