#WhatsNewWednesday: Piggy Paint GIVEAWAY!

Hi My Loves!!

Today I have a fun #WhatsNewWednesday featuring Piggy Paint. If you have never heard of Piggy Paint before it's a nail polish designed for kids. These polishes are Non Toxic, Odorless & Kid Friendly.... they are basically Natural as Mud :) I was super excited to try these out when I was asked if I wanted to review them. I haven't painted Lily's nails up until I got these so this was Lily's first time with nail polish. A very snazzy time for Lily, she had so much fun getting her nails painted. We've tried them a few times now and the first time we went with two shades of pink. The second time around she wanted pink & purple on her toes and red on her nails. It was such a fun thing for me to do, sitting with my baby girl painting her nails. It's something every Mom can't wait to do with their daughter and to know that the polish I'm using is so friendly to my little one makes it even better. Phoenix also had fun naming all of the colors and picking out his favorite ones. He ended up wanting his nails painted too, so he chose some manly colors (blue and green)... he loved them!

If you are looking for the longest lasting toddler manicure, this isn't it... but the polish comes in very pretty colors and dries super fast and the kids love it. What I also like is that because it does chip off so quickly (who knew you would like that haha) you don't have to worry about having to use yucky polish removers to get their nail polish off. It just disappears within a few days. The colors really only need one coat as well as they are quite opaque so it's nice that you don't have to spend too much time.

I got all of the colors pictured below. They come in this super cute little box and what I like is that it's simple colors, so it's easy for the kids to recognize the colors. They are all super shimmery except for the orange and light pink. My favorite's are the dark green, blue and hot pink. Such beautiful colors! If you did want to use these on your nails I would definitely suggest using a base coat and top coat as they don't dry shiny and chip quickly.

Here's all the colors on my fingers. How beautiful is that dark green? It's like the Wizard of Oz.

Please excuse the messy paint job, I'm tired haha!

Here's the one that broke ;( Of course it's mine and Lily's favorite color) but isn't that just how the cookie crumbles lol!

The lovely ladies at Piggy Paint have a prize for one lucky winner. One person will win a Glitter Girls Set (seen below). They were also kind enough to give me a coupon code for my readers. If you head on over to www.piggypaint.com and use the code piggypaint20 you will get 20% off until March 31st. These can also be found at Walmart.

  10. My favorite thing to do with my daughters who are 7 and 8 , is have what we call a "girls date'. We go out to eat, then to either a girly movie, or do some shopping at their favorite store Claire's, then we always stop at the department store to try on a little lipstick...they love it! We go about once a month and it's really fun :) Thanks Sam! brittdutton64@gmail.com

  11. When I was a single momma, I'd have Friday night pizza and a movie with my kids. It taught my kids the great art of compromise because every week we would each take a turn picking out the kind of pizza we ate and the movie we watched. The together time also gave my daughter a chance to paint her little brothers nails - haha. lknitz@hotmail.com

  14. Oh my gosh this momma and my daughter would love this! My favorite thing to do with my daughter...well there is a bunch! I love to teach her new things and she loves to learn, she is now 22 months and she is talking more and its so exciting and she loves seeing me and everyone so proud of her! I love to colour with her may it be with crayons, markers, pens, pencils or chalk its so amazing watching her little mind at work creating her works of art. ;) I looove going on walks with her because (momma gets some good exercising in!) and I love watching her take everything in, and she gets amazed by seeing any possible animals we may see and to see her point out and name what she see's. I love cuddles cause now a days she is miss independent and the only snuggle time I get anymore is when she wakes from her rare naps! Thanks for the chance!!

  18. Sam, just a little constructive criticism. When you are going product placement, the product should look impeccable. Inticing. In it's package and on the model. You shouldn't let your children play with your props. All the makeup, brushes and now the nail polish. It looks like you simply don't care. You'll never be a top notch YouTube beauty guru when you post your nails in a manner in which it looks like your toddler did them. The bottle is gross, too. Clean your act up. No wonder why there's so much gossip about the way you present yourself. You're helping with posting the half-fast posts you do.

  19. I have to agree, the professionalism in this game should be the key.How do you want us to look up to you as a some sort of ,,guru,, if we are better than you?? My nails are in better shape,my products are in cleaner condition,my skin is better and my makeup application is neater. What is happening to you Sam?

    1. Dear other anonymous people... Please, oh, please, get a life. So her nails aren't perfect, omg. There are some real problems in the world. I'm guessing you are both americans (I'm not, sorry for my grammar mistakes), so it would be soooo good for you to take a look at what are the real problems in the world right now. Not Sams "they are not perfect, shame on you blaablaa" nails. But things like the situation in Ukraine or the global warming or Middle East... I'm guessing you have no idea what I'm talking about. Maybe you are trying to give constructive critisicm but I' believe you are a bit jealous :) And that's OK, I'm too. If you don't enjoy her videos/blogposts, simply stop watching her. Greetings from Finland!!

    2. I don't read any jealousy in their posts at all. She's trying to sell a product. The application should be neat. Is it the polish that is awful to work with? I wouldn't buy a product that turned out like that, and the bottle "broke" already? Come on, now. No jealousy.

    3. I was kinda hoping I'd get you to pay attention to those real problems :(
