Hair Inspiration: 1, 2, 3 or 4?

Hi My Loves!!!

So last week I was aksing you all for pictures for my hair. I've been bored of it for so long now and I wanted a change. Of course when it came time to get it done this week, I chickened out and ended up going with blonde highlights like always. They came out really light and now I'm wishing I would have just been brave and done something new. Poo. Has that ever happened to you? What you really want and what you end up doing are so totally opposite and then you wish you would have just done what you wanted in the first place?

I'm going to show you the pictures that have been on my desktop staring me back in my face every time I open up my laptop to do work... Tell me which one you think I should do.

#1. The Blake Lively Redhead Vixen
This was what I had originally been thinking before anyone posted pictures. We have a similar skin tone and eye color so I thought that this would be pretty on me. I love how shiny and gorgeous the color is. I've always wanted to be this color and I just love her hair in these pictures. This is my #1 choice but it's such a huge commitment and so hard to go back to blonde if I don't like it. It's a very sexy color, at least I think so ;) Plus, I could easily to this to myself at home, which would save me money and time!

#2. Natural brown to blonde Ombre
I know I'm a little late on the Ombre trend but hey, it's still in and the reason it's so popular is because it's such low maintenance which is always a plus when you are a mama. I love how beachy and effortless this color is. I've been stalking Guy Tang's instagram like crazy just oogling and aweing over his amazing Ombre creations. That man is an artist!! I wish he could do my hair but he's in L.A and I'm in horse land.

Here's another gorgeous Ombre with slightly darker, warmer tones. Thanks to Laura for sharing these two on my Facebook :)

#3. Lowlights
The last one is the safest. It's basically the color I have and then just adding some lowlights so that I have more dimension and it blends more with my natural dark ash blonde hair. Pretty and I've had it before but nothing crazy new or different.

#4. Pastel Pink
This is the craziest of them all, although I have had pink before and loved it. It made me feel like a magical fairy or something ;) Although now that I have kids I start feeling like I shouldn't have crazy pink hair. Is that silly of me? Should I have a normal hair color because I have kids? I'm getting boring with my hair color in my old age :)

So these are the ones I've been trying to decide on. While I like the blonde that I have, I just feel weird being so blonde and can't quite get used to it. So please let me know in the comments below or on Facebook. 1, 2 3 or 4? What do you like the best for me?

Thanks for reading! Hope you all have a great weekend and I have a new video that will be up later on today :)

  4. I think the red would just look stunning with your blue eyes!!

  5. Number 1, but do it profesionally. Blake seems to have a lot of dimension to the haircolor which adds fullness and helps it look healthier. Plus, doing it yourself could easily go wrong. You'd look great! Its the only different option of the bunch :)

  6. I like #2 because it's the more natural of the 4, and the easiest to transition from when you want to go lighter or darker, or if you really want to go pink in the future. I think ashier colors are more flattering, in my opinion. The #1 looks pretty brassy, so if you go red, maybe try to avoid it looking orange-y. :)

  8. I really like the red-Blake Lively look. I think you'd look great with any of the options you listed, I just feel like the red would be more fun. Although, I won't lie...I love the pictures you've posted previously when your hair was super dark brown. I think that was my favorite hair color you've had :)

  9. sam i too love number 1.i also love number 3 the real blonde with dark blonde low lights its beautiful. if u really like the first one tho why dont you use a demi permanent to make sure you like it enough to keep it,that way theres no damage going back blonde ...thats my take on it :)

  10. I like #2 or #3..I think you can have fun wiht your hair even though you have kids! If you like the pink go for it...but if you want to stay more natural then go a safer route and choose one of the other nice ones you have posted! ;)

  11. Maybe a combo of 2 and 4! Do the natural ombre and then put some pink on the bottom or in between the layers. That would be soo pretty on you :)

  15. Sam we only live once please try either 1 or the last one! I'm naturally strawberry blonde and I went dark brunette for a year it was completely different and a lot of upkeep (my hair grows FAST, imagine a reversed ombré) but I'm so glad I did it and it was fun to try on a different look. Now I love my natural color but, its so funny I was just debating adding some pink too... If you do ill do it! Lol I can't wait to see which look you pick. Be brave

  16. I think number 1! It would look amazing on you. I've been toying with the idea of going red but having been blonde all my life I don't feel brave enough. I'm ready for a change too though so maybe we should just bite the bullet?! I can't wait to see what you decide! xx

  17. Go with number 1! It's obvious by the things you are saying that that's the color you want, just go for it! It's only hair, just color it back if you don't like it;)

  20. #1 but i still love the red pic of i just love that color.

  21. I so think the red would look great on you. It looked good on you when you did the dark red and the light red would be even prettier. Plus you could keep some of the blonde for highlites if you wanted!!

  22. #1 ALL THE WAY!!!!! It's GORGEOUS and totally would fit with your skin tone, eye color and it's not CRAZY different but it's just beautiful, healthy looking and very unique!!!!!

  23. one!!! it's the best!

  24. Go for Number 1. You will totally rock that hair colour. I like Blake, but I personally think you are much more gorgeous and fairer than her.

  25. # ONE!!!! Stunning! You must choose #1...your eyes would look AMAZING and you'd look more like Lily bug!! ;)

  26. I really think that 1 or 3 would be best. the first one would look amazing with your eyes and really brighten up your look! the third one would be "amping" up your look that you have now. both are good options but my personal favorite is the first!!

  27. The blonde shades look so good on you.....the reds you have had looked beautiful also.. But the one here looks orangey ??? Please don't do an ombré that looks like grow out. These pics aren't bad. Either way.. You are a gorgeous mamma !

  28. Hi! It's just a few months ago that I started to follow you. I Lo ve the first one color. But my absolutely fav one is the pink color. I'm a mama and recently I change my natural dark color to redhead and I love it! Beautiful mama!

  29. #1 would look great on you! You're hair looks awesome now btw

  30. #2 all the way. From one stylist to the next, I just did it and I love it! Less maintenance which is nice when you have kiddos. It will still keep you blonde which I think really compliments you and is less damage on the hair because you don't have to get it touched up! Plus, I love the ashy tones in your hair! Mine has ash in it as well so I wanted to show case that a little bit :) good luck on finding what your looking for!

  31. My favorite for you is #3 low lights! I would be honored if you and any of your viewers would check out my new blog at www.bethandbeauty.com. Thanks in advance!

  32. I LOVE number one! I loved the red hair on you in your throwback photos, although going from blonde to that dark of red would be harsh. I love the Blake photo, its a beautiful middle ground and I really think it would warm you up!

  33. Dang they are all great! #2 or 4!

  34. 2 or 3. Or an ashy toned strawberry blonde if you must go red. I just can't imagine dealing with all the hair maintenance of red. Then get some wild colored clip ins for fun to jazz it up sometimes!

  35. I think #1 would be so pretty on you. Im in a funk with my hair too im a natural red head so I really only like to highlight it but I dont want to damage my hair anymore so I have been putting darker red throughout it. I really love your highlights in your tbt pic where it was short and curled! That would be really gorgeous on you again!
